Heart. Intelligence.
A Passion for Stories.

Maxwell Zener is a classically trained actor, a SOVAS Award nominated audiobook narrator, and proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

He’s narrated over 140 audiobooks in genres from horror to romance, thrillers to sci fi, and nonfiction from self-help to history.

His path to becoming a professional actor ran through the science lab - he was a research biologist and a teacher. He traded in the lab coat and the whiteboard for the stage and the mic, but never lost his passion for life-long learning and for the natural world.

But while science is how you learn about the physical world, art is how you learn about the human experience. Nothing excites him more than bringing an author’s world to life in the heart of the listener.

When not behind the mic - or on stage or in front of the camera - Maxwell can be found on a hiking trail, in the kitchen cooking or experimenting with craft cocktails, or (most likely) around a table with friends playing Dungeons & Dragons or another roleplaying game. He has authored several best-selling D&D adventures.
